Cracking the "Gen AI Code" Yet?!
Enterprise Adoption, Successful Strategies, Gartner's Predictions...and a book on the state of information (TLDR: "Information is not truth").
I’ll be in Europe this week so if you live near Frankfurt, Paris or London, I’ve got great opportunities for you! (some of which I can even get you in for free!). More details here.
I’m on a mission to help customers crack the Data, Analytics and “Gen AI Code” and that’s why I’m on the road meeting with them. We have a long way to go: here is what we’ve learned so far!
Enterprise Adoption: 60% of CIOs are frustrated with their GenAI progress, often due to treating it as a tech upgrade rather than a transformative tool. Embracing a multi-cloud, multi-model, and multi-modal approach is essential for driving long-term business transformation (more here and here)
Successful Strategies: By focusing on cost/performance balance, security, transparency, and integration, successful companies set themselves apart. They don’t just rely on the biggest models but deploy small, purpose-driven models for specific tasks, maximizing value while minimizing costs. Gartner provides a few pointers to 2025 strategies and priorities. See more here and here.
Tech Myths & AI’s Impact: David Moschella and Rob Atkinson’s book, debunk common tech myths like “tech is killing jobs” and “tech makes us less social.” In reality, AI is enhancing social connectivity and boosting productivity. Read more about it here. Another game changing book I highly recommend is “Nexus”. If you don’t have time to read it, you might enjoy this summary.
